Lighting design is something I have always been interested in. While at Knox I was given the chance to take a Lighting Design class. In this class I did my first lighting design for a dance piece entitled Protus Burp, which was one of several pieces in the Main Stage Dance Concert, Journeys. I also completed a Dance With Light piece to Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Wizards In Winter. In fall 2008 I did lights for Tartuffe with the aid of Professor Craig Choma, directed by Neil Blackadder.

In winter 2009 I did a lighting design for a devised piece entitled Beyond The Fourth Wall Presents: 1 U, Cranked: In Demand, and Before She Wakes directed by Lindsey Snyder. Please check back for pictures.

This past spring I did an independent study in Lighting Design. In this independent study I completed a theoretical lighting design for Richard Greenberg’s Take Me Out as well as another Dance WIth Light.
